Proudly located in Corktown Detroit since 2010, True Body Fitness puts you on a path to a better you. Our studio offers a small group and one-on-one training environment focused on privacy and individual attention. Our staff excels at tailoring workouts to your individual goals and cheering you on every step of the way. Kimo Frederickson founded TBF in 2008 out of a home in the suburbs. Since moving to Detroit he takes pride in being part of the local business community and collaborating with the brilliant supporters and thinkers that have helped TBF grow.

Since the beginning, our goal is reaching fitness goals without attitude or judgment. Many of our trainers have also struggled with fitness in the past and we are comfortable with any starting point you may be facing in your journey. Our objective is to help you build and maintain a happier, healthier and better life. Each member of out team brings a unique perspective to the large spectrum of what it means to be “fit.”

One-on-One Personal Training is an excellent way to learn the precise way to excel with your body and your life. Whether you are looking for sports-specific training, weight loss / management, balance training, flexibility training, cardio training or metabolic training, True Body Fitness offers you custom solutions tailored to you and your goals.

Paired Personal Training is a cost-saving alternative to One-on-One training for a pair with similar fitness goals and capabilities. We can pair you with another client or you can sign up with your friends. Up to five people can train together.
